It’s Official : QWP ministers take office

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has allocated the portfolios of Irrigation, and Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment to Qaumi Watan Party K-P President Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, while Labour and Mineral Development were given to Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli with immediate effect, said an official communiqué issued by the administration department’s Cabinet Wing on Tuesday.  This is the second time QWP has become a part of the PTI-led K-P coalition government. QWP has a better knowledge of parliamentary issues and wishes to jointly work on provincial autonomy and Fata reforms,” K-P Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said at the time of the patch-up.
