Worth rs1m: Smuggler busted, heroin seized

ISLAMABAD: The Industrial Area police arrested a drug smuggler and seized two kilogrammes of heroin, valued at Rs1 million, from his possession, said SP (Rural) Yasir Afridi. Saeed Umer, 33, a resident of Tench Bhatta, was arrested from Sector H-8 on a tip-off, the official said. The SP explained police had received information about the entrance of a vehicle (LHR-871) in the city, following which it established a check-post at Sector H-8/4 Service Road and intercepted Umer.
