Defection clause: Naib nazim disloyal: JUI-F leader

CHITRAL: Former MPA of Chitral Maulana Abdul Rehman has said the present district naib nazim Maulana Abdul Shakoor was no longer eligible to act in the given role. Rehman, a Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl leader, said Shakoor, who is in the same party, violated the rules by voting against JUI-F in nazim elections. Addressing a conference held in Chitral, Rehman said Shakoor’s violation were against the K-P Local Government Act 2013. “He is deemed ineligible for the district council,” said Rehman. He added the accused will soon be de-seated from JUI-F after investigation is complete.
