Things went from bad to worse for Sattar who succumbed to his third straight defeat in the competition as Babar Masih beat him 4-3.
Masih was in control for most of the match as he led 3-1 at one stage. But Sattar kept himself in the hunt by winning two frames to equalise, hitting a 121-point break in the sixth frame.
However, Masih managed to snatch a narrow victory with scores of 66-21, 81-33, 57-78, 108-08 (70), 01-55, 0-137 (121), 64-53.

Meanwhile, left-handed Sultan Mohammad inflicted a 4-2 defeat on Changezi, while youngster Mohammad Majid Ali thrashed Agha 4-0. It was Agha’s third consecutive loss in the event as well, but both he and Sattar still have a chance to go through to the knockout stages if they manage to win their last two group matches.
Ian Mark John continues to make his presence felt as he bested Nouman Iqbal 4-1, while former IBSF World Champion Mohammad Asif registered a 4-3 victory over Sharjeel Mehmood with scores of 69-47, 41-79, 83-39, 83-35 (80), 60-62, 20-61 and 69-37.
Defending champion Mohammad Sajjad improved his highest break effort by two points in his 4-1 demolition of Mohammad Faheem by scores of 134-08 (134), 82-11, 92-18 (75), 30-73 and 73-67.
Imran Shehzad beat Asif Toba 4-2, while Shahid Aftab came back from 3-1 down to win 4-3 against Rambail Gul.
