PESHAWAR:

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Sindh chapter President Haleem Adil Sheikh urged the provincial government to establish disaster management offices in all districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Sheikh was there to hand over aid sent by the Sindh government. Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Thursday, the PML-Q leader said the decision to set up offices in all districts will enable the responsible authorities to collect data on the level of damage. “I am visiting the province to show solidarity with the affected population and ensure their well-being,” he said. “The Sindh government has donated 3,600 tents for earthquake victims in K-P.” According to Sheikh, two trucks of tents have been sent to Haripur and Shangla districts. The PML-Q leader claimed 40% affected areas are still inaccessible.
