Deadly Virus: Dengue kills JPMC nurse

KARACHI: The eighth death caused by the dengue fever surfaced on Thursday at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). Tasawur Hussain, 38, was a nursing attendant at JPMC where he was admitted on Wednesday. The JPMC administration confirmed that their staff member died from dengue fever. Hussain was a resident of Kala Pul. According to the provincial Dengue Prevention and Control Programme, around 3,000 citizens have been affected by the dengue virus.
