ISLAMABAD: The National Highways and Motorway Police recovered two stolen cars and arrested three suspects on the motorway (M-1) near Rashakai on Wednesday, said a press release. A car (MNA-2636) was towing an out of order car (WJ-33) when officials approached them offering assistance. The drivers of both cars panicked when the officials started asking questions, and tried to run away. The officers arrested Muhammad Saleem and Asif Jalil, residents of Multan, and Abdul Rehman, a resident of Loralai. Another accomplice, Abdullah Khan, reportedly escaped taking cover of darkness. Later, motorway officials handed over the cars and arrested persons to the local police for investigation.
