Illegal Assets : NAB freezes ex-DFO’s property

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau K-P director general has given an order to freeze the properties of former forest department DFO Muqarrab Shah. The ex-DFO has been accused of accumulating wealth beyond his known sources of income. The former official’s assets amounted to millions of rupees, stated the bureau. During his physical remand, the suspect revealed that properties were under his name or his family members’. These included plots and properties in Peshawar, Haripur, Nowshera, Abbottabad and Mardan. Shah is in NAB’s custody.
