ISLAMABAD: Deputy speaker Azad Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Shaheen Dar and All Parties Hurriyet Conference leaders on Tuesday handed over a Memorandum of Understanding to the UN Military Observer Mission officers peacekeeping force to mark ‘Black Day’. The move marks a day of mourning to recall the illegal occupation by Indian forces of Jammu and Kashmir on this day in 1947 and the atrocities suffered at their hands. Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over are observing Black Day on Oct 27 to convey to the world that India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is totally illegal, unjust and contrary to the Kashmiris’ aspirations.  The day is being marked with complete shutdown in Indian held Kashmir.
