Woman commits suicide in Lahore after brawl with husband
Police said they had collected forensic evidence
LAHORE:
A 40-year-old woman apparently committed suicide in a Sarwar Road police precinct on Tuesday.
Police have taken the body to a morgue for autopsy. Police said the woman had had an argument with her husband while adding that her husband returned home from work on Tuesday and found her lying in a pool of blood.
Man booked for wife’s suicide
She had apparently shot herself in the head. The husband called the police.
Police said they had collected forensic evidence and had registered the statements of residents of the area. Police said they were investigating the matter.
Earlier, a woman committed suicide on in Johar Town. Police said the woman, a resident of Okara, had had an argument with her husband.
Man commits suicide after killing wife, son
“They quarrelled over a minor issue. She then locked herself in a room and took poisonous pills,” police said.
Her family then took her to hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
