PESHAWAR: The party membership of district councillor Sheryar Khan from Mansehra was revoked by PTI and his case was heard by the Election Commission of Pakistan. A hearing was held on Tuesday for those who violated party discipline in elections for district and tehsil nazims on August 30. The hearing was carried out under the disqualification clause of the Local Government Act 2013. Four party members from Mansehra appeared before ECP and appealed their case. Provincial organizer Fazal Muhammad Khan was also summoned by Chief Election Commissioner to represent the party’s position.
