A delegation of Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh chapter called on Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday.
Official sources said that upcoming local bodies' elections, development funds and compensation for targeted killings of ANP workers were on the agenda.
After the meeting, ANP Sindh chapter secretary-general Younus Buneri said that his party has already made an alliance with the Pakistan Peoples Party in Karachi for the upcoming local government elections. The leaders of both the parties discussed seat adjustment. "Around 250 candidates of our party are contesting the elections in different constituencies of the city," he said.
