Teenager gang-raped in Malakand

A 13-year-old girl was gang-raped in Batkhela, the district capital of Malakand, on Sunday morning at around 8am.


Batkhela Additional Assistant Commissioner Imran Yousafzai  quoted Gul Muhammad, the father of the victim Aisha*, as saying she was on her way to a seminary in Ala Dhand Dherai when two men whisked her away into the fields.

Heinous revenge: 20-year-old girl abducted and raped


An FIR was registered in which Aisha and her father nominated Shaukat and Arshad, accusing them of kidnapping and raping her in the fields. The suspects also allegedly threatened to kill Aisha if she spoke of the incident to anyone, the police report stated. Gul Muhammad, who is a labourer by profession, urged the chief minister and chief justice to look into the matter and take stern action against the culprits. Malakand tehsil nazim Fida Muhammad also spoke in support of the rape victim and said he wanted the culprits behind bars immediately.

Sexual assault: Man rapes 4-year-old girl

Imran Yousafzai told the media that Malakand Levies had arrested Arshad. Since Shaukat managed to escape, the levies arrested his father instead.

The accused were taken into custody under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
