Sms alert: Banned group member nabbed

PESHAWAR: The counter-terrorism department arrested a suspected militant, Israfel, from the General Bus Stand in the city on Monday. The CTD was informed about the suspect by the Interior Ministry through a text message , which stated Israfel was a member of al-Qaeda and Tehreek-e-Taliban Mohmand. He tried to provide false information on the Badhaber airbase attack. The supect was located and arrested after planned action, after which he was shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. Israfel is a resident of Taru Jabba, located in Nowshera. Further investigation in the case is under way.
