Training workshop: Dengue control workshop begins today

The ceremony will be inaugurated by DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dall on Monday at 2pm

RAWALPINDI: A dengue control training workshop series is set to begin from Monday, according to an official on Sunday. The workshop will be arranged by the city district government and Local Government and Community Development at Jinnah Hall TMA, Rawal Town, Rawalpindi, in collaboration with Plan Pakistan and WaterAid Pakistan. The ceremony will be inaugurated by DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dall on Monday at 2pm. Dr Waseem Akram, dengue expert and advisor to chief minister Punjab, will impart training to 100 dengue works and supervisory staff during the training session. Director Local Government and Community Development Mian Najeeb Aslam said male and female sanitary personnel, union councils secretaries, health supervisors and field team heads will participate in the training sessions.
