Foiled: Seven rare falcons recovered
The birds were supposed to be smuggled to Iran
KARACHI:
Pakistan Coast Guards team foiled a bid to smuggle seven rare falcons during a raid within the limits of the Mochko police on Saturday. According to a press release issued by the department, the team seized the falcons from a bus that was on way to Gwadar from Karachi. The birds were supposed to be smuggled to Iran. Later, the birds were handed over to the wildlife department of Sindh during an event at Hawke’s Bay.
