Six killed as jeep falls into ravine in Shangla

All the deceased belong to the same family

SHANGLA: At least six people, including women and children, were killed on Saturday when a jeep fell into a ravine in Shangla Lelonai, Jabba in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Alpori police station SHO Hassan Khan said the accident took place at around 5:30pm as Muhammad Aakif, an employee of the AC office, was travelling with his wife, children and guests to Jabba when his jeep fell in a ravine.

The accident resulted in immediate deaths of all the six people.

A female severely injured in the accident has been shifted to Mingora hospital.
