PESHAWAR:
Three women—a mother and her two daughters—were killed inside their house in Zargarabad within the jurisdiction of Yakatoot police station on Friday. “Bilquis and her daughters, Hanifia Bibi and Kaftia Bibi, were shot dead over charges of adultery by her relatives,” a Yakatoot police official told The Express Tribune. “All the three women were married and it seems to be a case of honour killing; though we were told it was an outcome of a domestic dispute.” The official said Bilquis’ son told the police there were frequent quarrels in the house and it eventually led to the murder of his mother and two sisters by his father and a brother-in-law.
