Justice Muhammad Sajid Mehmood Sethi of Lahore High Court (LHC) disposed of on Friday a 27-year-old case concerning allotment of plots by the then chief minister Nawaz Sharif. The court directed the petitioner to approach the Lahore Development Authority land director for relief. Noshab A Khan, counsel for Azhar Javed, said that in 1988 Nawaz Sharif had allotted plots to several people. He said the plots had not been auctioned or allotted on payment of market price. He said this was a violation of LDA rules. He had sought against action those responsible for the delinquency.
