Professors from University of Glasgow, including Dr Margery A McMohan from the School of Education, and PhD candidate Shahista Rehman, attended the event as guest speakers. Director of IMSciences Dr Mohsin Khan also participated in the panel.
The panel focused on brainstorming ideas and gathering opinions from students of different faculties in developing a Knowledge City in K-P. The goal was to orchestrate a rudimentary yet applicable plan in order to turn the idea into reality.
The students focused on developing a plan that caters to the needs and societal challenges of locals, rather than imitating the idea from a previously established Knowledge City. Once the idea is designed, construction will be undertaken by the K-P government. However, the task would be in collaboration with British Council, who will act in the capacity of an advisory and donor agency.
Faculty and students from IMSciences, as well as K-P Agriculture University and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, were also invited to attend the event.
