D I KHAN: The DPO has put up posters containing information of around 27 militants and proclaimed offenders on walls across DI Khan City, The Express Tribune has learnt.

An insider familiar with the matter said the posters include photographs and names of the miscreants, and also state the bounty placed on their heads. The public has been urged to inform the police immediately if it has any information about the whereabouts of the proclaimed offenders and militants.

“The posters have attracted attention,” a local told The Express Tribune on Tuesday. This measure has been introduced to ensure security before and during Muharram.

Instruction manual

The DI Khan police have also distributed a document instructing the public to cooperate with law-enforcement agencies during the month.

“If you notice any suspicious activities, then immediately inform the police,” stated the document. “The rest of the instructions are mentioned in the paper.”
