Kasur child abuse: 15 sent on judicial remand

LAHORE: Fifteen suspects held in Kasur child pornography case were on Tuesday sent on a judicial remand for six days.

The anti-terrorism court hearing the case directed the prosecution to present the suspects before the court on October 19 and adjourned the hearing.

Earlier, a Joint Investigation Team probing the case on Tuesday submitted their challans before the court.

The JIT report has charged 10 suspects with sodomy and five with criminal intimidation. None of them has been charged with extortion.

A gang of 20 to 25 men had ostensibly filmed as many as 400 videos of sexual abuse involving at least 280 children from the Hussain Khan Wala village in Kasur.
