PESHAWAR:

PML-N K-P General Secretary Rehmat Salam Khattak called October 12 the “darkest day in the history of Pakistan,” adding it was a day when a dictator toppled a democratically elected government. In a statement issued from the provincial secretariat on Monday, Khattak said Pakistan faced many problems during former president Pervez Musharraf’s rule, causing the country’s situation to deteriorate further. Moreover, PML-N leader Arbab Khizer Hayat Khan in a separate handout said October 12 was a day when a dictator humiliated the parliament and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Khizer saluted the political forces that stood against the dictatorship, especially the chief of PML-N, PM Nawaz Sharif, party leaders, office-bearers and workers.
