MNA reviews arrangements for Muharram

A central control room has been set up to monitor and develop communication among the departments during Muharram

SUKKUR: National Assembly member Dr Nafeesa Shah reviewed the arrangements to facilitate the participants of mourning processions and majalis during Muharram, in a meeting on Monday. Khairpur deputy commissioner (DC) Munawar Ali Mithiani, officials of North Sindh Urban Services Corporation, Sukkur Electric Power Supply Company and health officials also attended the meeting. The officials at the meeting, including ulemas belonging to different schools of thought, vowed to play their role to promote interfaith harmony, brotherhood, peace and unity during the month of Muharram. A central control room has also been set up in the DC office to monitor and develop communication among the departments during Muharram.
