Controversial procession: Court exonerates accused

The district court has exonerated the accused of the Sector G-10/3 Muharram procession and said the procession taken out last year was part of tradition and thus not illegal. Judicial Magistrate Hafeez Ahmed dismissed the police complaint against Tabassum Kazmi and Ishtiaq Qureshi, saying that the administration’s case against them was unfounded.
