The airport police have arrested 18 alleged gamblers and seized cash, pistols and other equipment from them.
On a tip-off, the police raided a house and arrested 18 men who were allegedly betting on card games.
The police also recovered an unspecified amount of stake money, 15 liquor bottles and 11 32-bore pistols from their possession. The police shifted the gamblers to the local police station and registered a case against them. Further investigation is under way, the police said.
