JHELUM: Former Deputy Director Colleges Asghar Ali Malik was booked on Thursday for alleged involvement in electricity theft. Acting on information, WAPDA officials raided the deputy director’s house in Pind Dadan Khan and found him using stolen electricity. Officials seized meters and relevant equipment from the premises. IESCO SDO (Operations) Waheedullah Khan said the power company faced a loss of over Rs0.1 million as a result of the stolen electricity by the former official in the last few months.
