ISLAMABAD:

A 31-year-old elephant will be brought from Sri Lanka for Kaavan the elephant at Islamabad Zoo and for this, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday dispatched a letter to the Foreign Office.

The elephant would be kept with Kaavan, who was recently unchained after a widespread social media campaign spanning the globe.

He had been in chains since several years.

CDA Member Environment Syed Mustafain Kazmi when contacted confirmed the news and said a letter has been dispatched to the Foreign Office in this regard.
