ISLAMABAD:

Allama Iqbal Open University will conduct final examinations of its teachers’ training programmes for the spring semester 2015 from October 12.

Roll number slips of the Arabic Teacher Training Course, Primary Teaching Certificate (PTC), Certificate of Teaching and BEd programmes have been dispatched to all enrolled students by post, said a press release issued on Monday.

The controller examination said that the roll number slips along with the date sheet had also been uploaded to the university’s website.

In order to facilitate the students, exam centers have been set up across the country. In all, there are about 850 exam centres set up in various parts of the country.

The students who have not received their roll number slips yet have been advised to contact the nearest AIOU Regional Office or superintendent, teacher education section, and examinations department for issuance of a duplicate. The students have also been advised to read the instructions mentioned on the roll number slips carefully before entering the examination centre.

The students have been directed to bring their original national identity card along.

Meanwhile, matters relating to evaluation of examination papers and announcement of results are being streamlined.

The administration is actively working for qualitative improvement in the university’s overall system.
