It's raining stars on the sets of Karan Johar's latest directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as King Khan graced the film's set in London.

All prepped to surprise his friend KJo, the Bollywood megastar took his kids to visit the director and Ranbir Kapoor on the set of the upcoming film.

After their visit, SRK tweeted a picture with the dynamic duo and said: "Was a treat to watch both make their dream come alive."

SRK was moved by the director's response and wished him success for the upcoming film: "Insha Allah it will b the biggest film u hav ever made..."

Earlier, Ranbir had said that he would be working on his birthday and no special plans were underway. “I had been told that one should feel special [on their birthday], however, no one has ever been able to meet those expectations and that is why I feel it is better to be working,” he said.

Neither did the actor seem too keen on celebrating his birthday with girlfriend Katrina Kaif -- who is also in London for the shoot of her film Baar Baar Dekho. However, on the day of his birthday, the actress was spotted on the set of his film, chatting away with Karan Johar.

Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas are also playing roles in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, other cast members include Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai.

The film is slated to release next year.
