Police action: Four Afghans arrested

RAWALPINDI: The police on Sunday arrested four Afghans, residing illegally in the city. Chauntra police conducted a raid and arrested four Afghan identified as Sherbaz Khan, Masoom Khan, Kamil Jan and Nazar Khan who had no proper documentation to stay in the capital. According to a police spokesperson, the cases were registered under the Punjab Information of Temporary Residence Ordinance 2015. Under the Punjab Tenants Ordinance 2015, details of new tenants should be provided to the police within 24 hours of giving possession of the property, the spokesperson added.
