Let your ponytail flirt with your face
The ponytail is one hairdo which is quick, straightforward and comfortable. But, you can ditch the traditional silky mind-numbing ponytail for a more laid-back, flirty one. All you have to do is tease the roots around the forehead for added volume. Leave a few strands resting on your shoulders just like Jaqueline Fernandez did. To take things up a notch, make a puff at the crown to add height. For superfluous body and bounce, use hair spray to fluff up the length.
Add asymmetrical bangs
Textured bangs are all the rage this season. To keep your long hair from looking overcast and tedious, add bangs — but avoid the clichéd thick and blunt-edged fringe which ends up making your face appear rounder than it is. Wispy bangs (like the ones Maggie Siff is rocking) will exude a fresh look to your face without compromising overall length. Bangs excel at highlighting your facial features. So, this Eid, think side-swept bangs with a pulled back mane.

Don super sleek hair
Whether you have a bob, lob or an extensive set of hair, super sleek straight strands are always en vogue. Take out that straightening iron from your styling drawer (if you’re scared the iron will fry your hair, blow-dry damp hair using a paddle brush to achieve the same look) and get that super glossy fuss-free mane. Depending on your face structure and shape, you can either style your hair with a centre or a side part. If you want to add extra oomph to your already-edgy style, steer clear of moisture-infusing hair serums and let your hair do its thing just like Meesha Shafi.
Tousle up your tresses
Dishevel up your locks in a refined manner to acquire the ultimate urbane, classy look. You can super-size your ends with the help of heated rollers or blow-dry the hair with a round brush after washing them. To get a look like Nargis Fakhri, mist your hair with the help of salt-infused water, and then twist small pieces of your locks (at the ends) with Velcro rollers sans heat. If you have natural waves then highlight your strands in chestnut tones to break the boredom whilst adding emphasis to your waves.

Side-sweep your strands
If you feel like you’re ready to add some glam-meets-drama to your hairstyle this eid, then discreetly gather all your hair and pull them to one side (like Kylie Jenner did). Try to discover the best side of your face that you do not mind showing off – it could be the side that flaunts your tragus piercing or the side that is currently blemish/pimple free. Add a little hair spray on your strands, and then pull them to one side of your face completely. Yes, it’s that simple.
