Ranbir and Deepika's film promises to be a fun ride.

The makers of the film put up the trailer on Facebook along with this picture of the duo from the sets of Tamasha:

Director Imtiaz Ali's message accompanied the Facebook post: "Tamasha is a film with many faces but a simple heart. We present today the first trailer of the movie. Hope you like it."
Here's the trailer:
The promo begins with Ranbir narrating his story as he takes you through his life. He looks like a typical boy-next-door who is obedient but gets sick of his monotonous routine.
He runs away to a scenic destination of Corsica where he meets his partner-in-crime -- Deepika. He introduces himself as a cool don, while Deepika calls herself Mona darling.
Their fun and adventurous journey begins with a promise that they will always "lie" to each other. But as all good things come to end, their lives take a dramatic turn when Ranbir introduces his real-self.

The film's catchline "Why always the same story?" is interesting enough for us to know the movie is not a typical rom-com. But will it live up to the expectations?
Tamasha is slated to be released on November 27. The official poster of the film was also released recently:
