Sattar Mansuri’s hat-trick guided National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) to a 3-1 win against Pakistan Elektron Limited (Pel) in the Pakistan Premier League.

The midfielder worked his magic at the People’s Sports Complex in Karachi, scoring in the 22nd, 42nd and the 71st minutes to complete the 16th hat-trick of the tournament.

Pel could only reply through Muhammad Usman in the 39th minute and were down to ten men when the striker was sent off after a second yellow in the 70th minute.

Meanwhile, Afghan FC succumbed to a 1-0 defeat in their home match against PMC Athletico. Athletico’s win at the Government High School in Chaman, after Muhammad Luqman’s goal in the 23rd minute, gave them the much-needed three points that they needed to avoid relegation.

Baloch FC beat Young Blood 2-0 after Najeebullah scored a brace at the Nushki Football Stadium. Young Blood’s defeat sees them relegated to the second tier for next season.
