Speaking to The Express Tribune, Haq said, “Gul Ahmed is a big name and have really good quality stuff, with everything ranging from casual to formal wear. Even I can boast of the fact that I have some of their items in my wardrobe.”
When asked, if he was about to become a brand ambassador of the retail store, he smiled and said, “Well it’s up to them to decide, not me.”
When asked what was in store for 2011, he said, “In January 2011, I have an upcoming visit to Chennai in India and then I am off to Australia where I will visit Sydney and Melbourne. I will be back in Pakistan in February and then there are more tournaments lined up in Rotterdam, Netherlands and Dubai. I have to go to Hong Kong too for the Davis Cup at the end of February next year.”
Haq further said, “I hope to perform better in 2011, than I did in 2010 and try to project and promote a better image of Pakistan as a player of the country.”
Frieha Altaf of Catwalk Productions was all praise for Haq, “He is great. He has been generous with his time. The launch of this store coincided with the sale of the collection.”
