India’s RAW to shut down covert air wing

In a bid to enhance its intelligence-gathering on China, India plans to shut down a covert air wing of its premier spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and merge the assets with two other departments.

Highly-placed Indian government sources told The Indian Express that the plan, backed by National Security advisor Ajit Doval, envisions dismantling the Aviation Research Centre (ARC) – which focuses on imaging-intelligence.

ARC’s aircraft and electronic assets will then be divided between the Indian Air Force and the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO).

NTRO will integrate ARC’s aircraft-based cloud-penetrating radar with its satellite-based data gathering efforts, substantially enhancing the latter’s capabilities.

The restructuring is aimed at enhancing intelligence-gathering on Chinese military activity in the Tibet plateau.

Naamdaar | 9 years ago | Reply Since RAW's assets aka TTP,BLA BRA are being eliminated and Pak Army is gaining grounds and achieving success every passing day also recently an Indian drone was shot down near the border Raw has been forced to dismantle existing programs to compensate for its failures

Fadil | 9 years ago | Reply Dear Jahan i am working among this talent less poor corrupt nation what you said about them is totally and 110% right they are nothing just a fake projection of every field of life they are coward but cunning like jackals i am an HR manger i found here mostly they are coming out from INDIA like cockroaches on fake degrees I visited the place where they are making such Degrees here and their Embassy is stamping them as legal degrees. this is one of the example i gave here there are lots of i have. my point is our media also portray them as this country is successful then us my question is then why they are coming out from Indian if they are successful 2.3 million job application Indian government organisation got for the post of Peon job in which PHD and other high degree holders application they received from here any one can assess how much bigger lier they are they should stop poking their nose in our and china's petty matters and spend this money on their poor stinky people who don't have toilets and other necessities as well.

And Hawks like Doval think by American helpthey can undermine giants like China and Pakistan. i dont see india on the map in next 10 years as English, Cricket and hate against neighbours is keeping this union intact but time is fast running out.

To the fellas spamming ajit doval being in Pakistan for over 10 years is so unfounded. When CIAS raymond davis was arrested within 1 week posing as a contractor. Your ajit doval was made to change his disguise when approached by an ISI officer who told him his disguise is giving away. If indians believe he was in pakistan for so long without getting caught then i am sure this ajit guy also must have said there are about 84k isi officers in india as we speak. Ajit is an Indian Hindu and as far as the early mughals suggest Indian Hindus lie a lot.
