ISLAMABAD: Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Distributors Association Pakistan has raised voice against the increase of LPG prices by Rs10 per kilogramme.  “LPG marketing companies have again increased the prices of LPG in just one week without any notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), which is unjustified,” LPG Distributors Association Pakistan Chairman Irfan Khokhar said in a statement. He said LPG prices were increased for domestic cylinder and commercial cylinder by Rs10 per kg. “This is a total Rs20 increase per kg, Rs240 per domestic and Rs960 per commercial cylinder in just one week, which is unjustified,” he added. Khokhar alleged that the LPG marketing companies were involved in black-marketing and earning illegal profit of Rs2 billion per day.
