KARACHI:
After Chris Gayle’s consent, another West Indian player, Andre Russell, has agreed to play in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL).

So far, more than a few players from West Indies have expressed interest in being a part of Pakistan’s T20 league, with the likes of Sunile Narine, Kieron Pollard and Samuel Badree already registered to be part of the draft.

Big-hitting all-rounder Russell has emerged as one of the best finishers in T20 format and has proven his mettle in different leagues of the world.

The PSL officials are working hard to bring in Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara and England’s Kevin Pietersen before tenders are floated for the franchises.
The tournament is scheduled to be played in February next year in Doha, Qatar.
