A number of students and faculty members participated in the annual book fair organised at the Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Islamabad. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, MAJU Executive Vice-President Dr Muhammad Mansoor Ahmed said decline in reading habits is the main reason behind the dismal education system of the country. He advised students to keep their relationship with the book alive. Various organisations participated in the event by setting up stalls including Saeed Book Bank, Pak Book Corner, Line Books, Progressive Books and Allied Books Company. A large collection of books on engineering, management and computer sciences were available at the stalls.
