Harrington hints on return of Jon Snow
‘Game of Thrones’ actor lets it slip that his character is bound to rise from the dead
Fans of the popular series Game of Thrones may be rejoicing right now after one of the show’s principal cast members Kit Harington, starring as Jon Snow, let it slip that his time on the show has not ended yet — and the leader of the Night’s Watch who was killed last season may be set for a return, reported The Telegraph.
Several forums have seen fans create multiple theories about whether Jon Snow, a fan favorite, is still alive. During a recent interview with Belgian magazine Humo, Harington seems to have dropped a major hint that his character is bound to rise from the dead in one way or another.
As per a translation by a reddit user, the 28-year-old had said to the magazine that, “Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I’ll probably be in my 30s when it’s over.”
“The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract,” said Harington, according to the Daily Beast.
“The show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract,” he added.
With the quotes suggesting he may continue to be involved in the production of the show for another two years at least, there is a considerable amount of buzz heading into the sixth season.
