Gwadar operation: Eight suspects arrested in Jiwani

QUETTA: Eight suspected militants were arrested in search operation in Jiwani area of Gwadar district on Tuesday. According to the Frontier Corps Spokesman the operation was carried out by FC and an intelligence agency. “Eight suspects were arrested during the search operation,” FC Spokesman Khan Wassey said adding that the militants were involved in the attack on Jiwani Airport and the killing of two Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)’s Officials.  They were also involved in targeted killing of citizens and various attacks on security forces. Earlier, on August 20 two CAA officials were killed at Jiwani Airport. The banned organization BLA had claimed the responsibility of the attack.
