MINGORA: At least 30 minors were arrested during a crackdown against underage motorbike riding in Swat district on Monday. DPO Saleem Marwat said he warned parents and children in the valley, explaining that the number of road mishaps had increased dramatically due to minors driving motorcycles. The DPO added he imposed a ban on minors riding motorbikes. He added that once arrested, they can only be released after signing a written document by their parents stating they will not allow their children to ride again until they come of age.
