Unmet targets: FESCO XEN suspended

FAISALABAD: Samundari Division Executive Engineer Muhammad Amjad has been suspended by Faisalabad Electric Supply Company CEO Rasheed Aslam for negligence, delinquency and poor performance, Fesco spokesperson Tahir Sheikh said on Sunday. “The Fesco chief had called a meeting of Fesco’s four circles to review the performance regarding progress on meeting recovery and line loss targets.” During the meeting, Aslam observed that the Samundri division had failed to achieve its targets, he said. “So he suspended the division’s executive engineer and warned other officers in the division to shape up or face suspension.”
