Eradicating a menace: Dengue awareness drive in five districts
Provincial health minister has directed health officials to take all possible measures to eradicate dengue virus
KARACHI:
The health department plans to ensure proper fumigation and launch a dengue awareness drive in five districts - Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Thatta, Sujawal and Tando Allahyar - from next week. On the directives of provincial health minister, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, a meeting on dengue awareness programme will be held today (Monday) at the Hyderabad health director-general's office, where health officials will discuss the upcoming drive. Dahar has directed health officials to take all possible measures to eradicate dengue virus from the targeted districts.
