DI KHAN: Underdeveloped districts like DI Khan will be included in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and hence witness prosperity. This was said by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman during a speech at a gathering of Gomal University Academic Staff Association on Saturday. Not only will new roads be constructed, but efforts are under way for the laying down of a railway track. “The track will also have routes in DI Khan,” said Rehman. “With economic stability will come social prosperity and peace, therefore there will be no extortion, killings and other cases of violence.” However, the party chief said, until now the underdeveloped areas of the country were ignored. He added institutions like Gomal University are assets for the district.
