The two united to perform at a packed arena in Dubai on Thursday night.
The crowd was left mesmerised when the two took the stage to perform a duet. They began their act by singing iconic ghazal Hothon Se Chhu Lo Tum by Jagjit Singh.

The two also crooned timeless tunes of Mohammad Rafi and Reshma. Sonu looked overwhelmed when Atif took the limelight.
Atif worked his magic on Mohammad Rafi's popular song Din Dhal Jaye from the 60s hit film Guide.
The audience quietly swayed to the tunes as Sonu proceeded with Reshma's famous song Lambi Judai.

Their duet definitely hit the jackpot and had everyone bewitched. The two singers crooned popular 70s track Kya Hua Tera Wada -- originally sung by Mohammad Rafi for film Hum Kisise Kum Naheen.
Earlier at a press conference, both singers claimed that they stand united to promote peace between India and Pakistan and are against the ongoing ban policies.

They believe that people of the two countries should “leave politics for those who play the game”.

“There should never be any lines or demarcations in the creative field. Art and music transcend such petty politics,” said Atif at a press conference, reported Emirates 24/7.

“Which is why both, Sonu and myself, we are united in our decision to perform together, as one unit. Audiences in Dubai will not be seeing two solo concerts on one stage tonight; they will see us performing largely together as a tribute to India and Pakistan,” he added.
