In a recent Instagram post, actor Savera Nadeem announced the passing of her mother, offering a heartfelt reflection on a life well-lived and a bond that will endure beyond loss. Known for her powerful screen presence in dramas like Badi Aapa (2012), Nadeem is often seen embodying roles of strength and complexity, but her recent tribute reveals the personal source of much of that strength – her mother.
"My wonderful mother, the joy and pride of our lives, left this world for a better one," Nadeem began. She continued, "Loved deeply and missed dearly by everyone who knew her and whose lives she touched." It's a sentiment that resonates with many who have lost a loved one.
"Unforgettable. Courageous in the face of the difficult cards she was dealt. She was a towering force of strength and compassion and a constant inspiration. Rest and be at peace Malikun Nissa. You are and always will be a queen." While Nadeem did not elaborate on the specific challenges her mother faced, the admiration for her courage is evident. It's a quality that Nadeem herself often brings to her on-screen performances, most recently in the hit drama Jaan e Jahan, where she portrayed Hamza Ali Abbasi's character Shehraam's stepmother – one that viewers loved to hate.
"I feel that sometimes they are in a bit of awe and a lot of times they get flustered," she said about her fans in a recent interview with a local publication. "I didn't expect people to connect with my character quite so much, considering how nasty she was, but they seem to have really appreciated her and maybe even understood her," she revealed about her character in the drama.
