Uplift Plan: RCB to start 48 development schemes

10 water supply schemes will cost Rs40m, while Rs20m will be spent on sewerage system

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) will undertake 48 development schemes in 10 wards at a cost of Rs128m. Sources said on Wednesday that tenders had been invited for the projects. Five schemes of repair and maintenance would be undertaken at a cost of Rs20m. 16 other schemes for road repair would be carried out at Rs45m. 10 water supply schemes will cost Rs40m, while Rs20m will be spent on sewerage system.
