LAHORE: Justice Mansoor Ali Shah on Monday summoned an officer from the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and sought comments from the DCO by November 4 on various petitions filed by residents of Sangatpura seeking removal of barricades placed by DHA around the village. Counsel for the petitioners told the court that the DHA had blocked routes leading to Sangatpura village near Burki. He said the DHA wanted to purchase land cheaply rates by using these tactics.  He told the court that sewerage lines of the village were being demolished by the DHA. The petitioners asked the court to direct the DHA to remove the barricades and stop demolition of the sewerage lines.
