On the run: ‘Robber’ killed in shootout
One of the men, who appeared to be 22-years-old, was killed in the shootout
BAHAWALPUR:
A robbery suspect was killed in a shootout in Sadiqabad on Monday night. Police said Saeed Ahmad, a resident of Bismillah Colony, was travelling on his motorcycle near Zakariya Garden when three men stopped him and snatched his motorcycle.
Ahmad called police and a patrol team chased the robbers. Police said the robbers shot at the team which then returned fire. One of the men, who appeared to be 22-years-old, was killed in the shootout while the other two fled.
